Why Lexington?

During the 1970s and '80s, Lexington Homes was by far and away the largest, most influential and prolific homebuilder throughout suburban Chicago.  In the 1990s, Lexington's founders continued their legacy under the name Concord Homes.  This legendary team of homebuilders was always admired for their pioneering spirit, innovative designs and excellent craftsmanship.  Now they've brought back their old, well respected name.  More correctly; they never went away.  The new Lexington Homes is bringing new designs and rejuvenated life to communities where Chicagoans still appreciate great quality and service, a great place to live, a good deal and enduring value.

Much has changed since the team behind Lexington built the first of more than 40,000 homes almost four decades ago. Yet, it's very reassuring to know that some things haven't changed. At Lexington Homes, what hasn't changed is the focus on the homebuyer. Sure, the people at Lexington Homes have built more homes than anyone else in Chicago, but that's not entirely what it's about. For Lexington Homes, after over 40,000 homes over four decades, it's still only about building one home at a time—your home.  Let us build one for you.
