In February, Lexington Homes purchased property on Chicago’s North Side to begin moving forward with plans for a 22-townhome community called the Lexington Village of Avondale. The townhomes will offer spacious floorplans with detached garages, allowing for a ton of living space. Pricing is not finalized, but they will likely begin in the mid $500s.
The parcel is an acre and a half of land that runs south along Karlov Avenue from Belmont and was part of the three-acre campus of St. Joseph Village of Chicago, a home for senior citizens run by the Franciscan Sisters of Chicago.
