The Henry C. Palmisano Advisory Council are proud to invite you to the 1st Annual “Bridgeport Air & Water Show” at our park on 29th and Halsted (the park north of Mc Guane aka Stearn’s Quarry).
Kite flying is highly encouraged, so bring your kites and fly them atop the 32′ Mt. Bridgeport. Once atop the hill you will see a lovely view of Chicago’s skyline, too. We will have 50 free kite kits for kids to color, make and fly in our big back lawn. Kite flying from 5-7:30 PM
The Valentine’s Boy’s Club will be out with their “Fish Mobile” with poles, bait and instruction for kids to learn to catch and release fish in our pond. Fishing from 5-7 PM
Tours of the park and native plantings will be from 5-7:30 PM.
Story circle with the Daley Branch Library for the little ones, too.
Last but not least, the star of the show: The Adler Planetarium will be out from 8-10 PM with telescopes for observing the moon, stars and beyond.
Food trucks will be out from 5:30-whenever they run out. Food includes: Jackalope Tea & Coffee (sponsors of our free kites!), Curried Indian foods, Babycakes and maybe others!
