Be part of the fun and join in for the Back of the Yards 5K on Sunday September 23, 2012! The 5K takes place at 950 Exchange Ave, Stockyards Industrial Park, Chicago, Illinois.
The Back of the Yards Neighborhood Council will be hosting the annual race. The event will combine a CARA Certified 5K Race with a Health Fair. The Mission of the Back of the Yards 5K and Health Fair is to:
- Raise funds for BYNC Folkloric Ballet and After School Programs
- Promote Exercise and Healthy Lifestyles in the Back of the Yards Community
- Promote Local Health Based Businesses
- Create Awareness of Back of the Yards as a vibrant positive community.
Event schedule and times:
- Registration – Online and at 8AM day of the race
- Race Start Time – 9AM
- Health Fair Time – 9AM to 12PM
