Des Plaines is full of action! What’s coming up that Lexington Park homeowners can attend? The 2011 Shootout Golf Outing, that’s what!
This outing is scheduled for Friday, September 9th, at Lake Park Golf Course in Des Plaines. This gives you just enough time to sign up! The day will start with registration and a light continental breakfast beginning at 7:30 am. Following an early morning breakfast is a shotgun start at 9:00 am and lunch at 12:00 pm.
Keep in mind, this is not your typical golf outing! With beautiful greens, strategic bunkers and a picturesque lake that doubles as a hazard, this sporty course will test your short game and make you rely on your skills around the greens. Each of the eighteen holes will have a challenge, along with special challenges off the course, too.
If your game is up to par (pun intended), prizes will be awarded for hole in one, closest to the pin, longest putt, target golf, beat the pro, low score (men and women), high score (men and women), deep six and putting contest.
To participate, the cost is $50 per golfer and the golf package includes the continental breakfast, hospitality bag, greens fee, a barbecue lunch and awards for play!
