Eat, Drink, Shop, Relax

When it comes to conveniences or a night on the town, Glenview offers an endless array of options. One of the best options is The Glen Town Center, which boasts a wide variety of shopping, dining, and entertainment options just minutes from Parkside.

In terms of dining, The Glen offers regional-specific restaurants such as the Russian-inspired Jibek Jolu, Montira Thai & Sushi, and So’Bella Cucina. Watch a ballgame and have a beer at spots like the Oak at Glen or Yard House. You can also enjoy familiar favorites (Noodles & Company, Potbelly Sandwich Shop, Starbucks) and top it all off with a sweet treat at Dairy Bar or Ben & Jerry’s.

The Glen also offers a wide range of retail options, including clothing and sporting goods stores, electronics and home goods stores as well as health-related outlets for all of your optical, dental, and auditory needs. Beyond The Glen, there are countless options for a fun night out. Get in touch with your artistic side with a relaxing night of painting and wine-sipping at Tipsy Paints or a live theater production at the Oil Lamp Theater, a three-time North Shore Choice Awards winner.

Downtown Glenview also offers some great dining options. Start your morning off with a coffee and a breakfast sandwich at Glenview Grind. Kick back and have a beer at Grandpa’s Place, a cozy neighborhood pub. Cap it all off with a frozen desert from the Glenview Dairy Bar.
