Herrer Pool. Here, there’s fun-in-the-sun for the whole family: a 50-meter main pool that has a 1- and 3-meter diving board; a drop slide and climbing wall; a plunge pool with two slides; and a tot pool with a zero-depth entry, kiddie slide, and spray pad area.
Oriole Park Aquatic Center. This aquatic center offers a 25-meter main pool with designated lap lanes; a 1- and 3- meter diving board and a drop slide; an activity pool with zero depth entry, current channel, a kiddie slide, and lily pad walk.
Chick Evans Golf Course. This short 5,691 yard 18-hole golf course is managed by the Forest Preserve of Cook County. Considered a hidden gem, the par-71 course offers a scenic, relaxed experience for golfers of all levels. Plus they offer the “GolfBoard,” a new and exciting “Segway” like way to get around the course. Book a tee time, bring your own golf bag and clubs, and enjoy!
Prairie View Community Center. Stay fit and active at the park district’s Prairie View Community Center, which includes a fitness center, gym, and an aerobic dance studio. The gym hosts activities including basketball, volleyball, pickleball, and more!
